The first years
Art Of War - First Years is a very possible prequel mini-series that fills in the beginning years of Void's life before Aced Electric. Thus it will include spoilers if you read it before Aced Electric, as a lot of Aced Electric relies on Void's unknown and untold history.
Instead of filling in the 20 years from the end of Past Retaken, which includes the Meta-Human outlawing and executions, it seemed easier to just tell the story of the dueterangonist of the second novel. Well, the story before Aced Electric.
Despite being a mini-series, it will most certainly cover a lot, and probably bridge right up to the beginning of Aced Electric, when Void is said to be returning from Brazil early for reasons unknown.
Kind of like a fanfiction, but written by the author.
Let's highlight some of the points of interest that will most probably be in Art Of War - First Years.

It will flesh out the entire relationship that happened between Void and Teknia.

The unknown fourth member of the group that features Hayes, Teknia, and Void herself will be revealed.

How Cynder finds Void and becomes the perfect meta-human's moral compass is a big part of the story.

The beginning partnerships between Deidra and Void will be shown.

How Void first found her way to the top of Systematic Aspire will be very prominent.

As will how Void became the main executioner for meta-humans.

Another feature is seeing Brooklyn in battle quite a few times.

It will see a mysterious little bit of plot that is spoken about lightly in Aced Electric.

And most importantly, it will show the infamous scene that had the people privvy to secret updates messaging me for weeks. And yes, for those reading and know, I am referring to the house burning down and Teknia's mental breakdown scene.

Will also feature the first encounters between Void and Sidestep.

And how Void came up with the whole plan of becoming Cailin to figure out how best to combat Sidestep.
